When
the state is in a fiscal crisis, the state education system is immediately
put in jeopardy. In this case, state lawmakers target the community
college system. Already struggling to provide for an exploding student
population and the stepping stones to UC and CSU, the community
colleges often get the short end of the stick - a shameful situation
which my cartoon aims to highlight.
