This
is a cartoon I did during the recall campaign, which shines a spotlight
on the underlying fact that while Arnold was assembling his strategists
to unseat the governor, a driving force behind this effort was former
California governor, Pete Wilson, whom Gray Davis succeeded in 1999.
Besides being a mentor to Schwarzenegger, Wilson served on his campaign
and many former Wilson aides and political operatives joined in
the effort as well.
