This cartoon focuses on Vice President Cheney and his ties to the petroleum company he formerly headed, Halliburton. It's just too ironic (for my taste) that Halliburton won almost $2 billion in contracts under Operation Iraqi Freedom and is in line to make hundreds of millions more dollars in the name of Iraqi reconstruction (under a no-bid process, no less). While Cheney and the rest of the administration continue to take their case to the American public that it was in our best interest to go to war with Iraq, they conveniently leave out who the "our" refers to in "our best interest."
